12island 292005.05.21+27Jon - drums Andy - 3 guitars and bass (strat (w/drums, chorused 9C?), bass [DADG], strat solo (9D, with mda circle panner), les paul clickity bits (1D)) Awesome reggae groove jammed out Sat night 5/21/2005. Overdubs started Monday night (5/23) with bass [DADG] doing a killer low riff. Then a loopy little solo track circling around the head and echoing. This is going somewhere cool. Friday morning 5/27/05, B&I taking a vacation day, I got up at 6:30 or so and re-did the bass part. The last note of the riff was kicked, but the kick drum wasn't, so I held back and got on it and it sounds great. I did a bit more experimentation with little riffs, too, and I like it. Then I also decided the mda Stereo things created digital clipping that was harsh, so I took that off the guitar and bass. I instead did my usual manual double-track by copying and shifting. Then I did a new guitar track with my Les Paul through patch 1D of the POD, playing mostly little clicky bits that sound great. 704bullfrog paradise (feat.
